About The Position

The expectation of this position is to lead and direct hourly team members to deliver quality products that meet company standards while achieving financial and business objectives. This role is responsible for providing quality products to customers globally, achieving production objectives, meeting daily hatch objectives, and achieving safety objectives. Additionally, the position focuses on developing and retaining qualified team members and ensuring compliance with TSA and NPIP regulations governing Cobb business activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, reflecting broad knowledge in a general professional discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of poultry management-related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using standard computer programs.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately four (4) or more times per year.
  • Direct supervision of approximately 20 or more hourly team members.
  • Work is conducted in a biosecure environment requiring showering before entering the facility and potentially multiple times throughout the workday.
  • Company-provided clothing and footwear must be worn.
  • Jewelry is not permitted on the job site, except for medical ID jewelry.
  • Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (e.g., chickens, ducks, or other birds).
  • Must adhere to the Company Animal Welfare Policy and Biosecurity Standards at all times.
  • Must use safe lifting techniques.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; and talk or hear.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must follow all required safety procedures and wear mandated personal protective equipment at all times.
