About The Position

The Manager Supply Chain is responsible for assisting leadership for supply planning, achievement of optimized operational efficiency, and inventory targets for packaging across the Raw Poultry/IQF Business Unit. This role develops both long-term and short-term strategies for supply/demand balance, packaging inventories, and projects to achieve corporate profit, volume, and market share objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven track record of managing and achieving volume and profit targets.
Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for actionable business plans
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Strong proficiency in Tyson systems, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint.
Highly self-directed with the ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed of key issues and decisions

Responsibilities

Develop and implement short- and long-term business objectives and volume plans for assigned categories that align with overall corporate goals.
Monitor performance metrics to ensure volume and profit targets are on track and recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
Analyze data to identify insights and translate findings into business initiatives and actionable plans that drive results.
Develop a strong understanding of and technical competency in Tyson systems and processes, as well as customer packaging systems.
Engage and lead cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
Establishing capacity/raw material analysis for plant/customer mix relationship.
Collaborate closely with the Operations to understand and integrate customer strategies into business plans for optimum execution.
Proactively partner with Sales and Planning teams to ensure forecast accuracy.
