About The Position

This role is on the AirKey team, part of Capital One’s Emerging Payments & AirKey group. AirKey is a proprietary, patented authentication technology that turns a payment card into a hardware authenticator to help reduce fraud and drive customer engagement for banks and other third parties. The team is building a new commercial business around this technology.

The Manager, Product Manager will work with partners across design, business, technology, and external clients to drive part of the AirKey product roadmap in response to commercialization and sales-cycle needs. The role covers frontend and backend capabilities and aims to deliver strong end-user and client experiences. The position calls for someone who can work in a high-touch, high-volume adaptive environment, learn quickly, multitask, communicate effectively, exercise judgment, and maintain credibility with cross-functional stakeholders. The role operates with minimal supervision and requires professional judgment in decisions affecting user experience.

Product managers in this role are expected to demonstrate proficiency in Capital One’s five product framework areas: human-centered customer focus, business-focused execution, technology-driven innovation and resilience, integrated problem solving and risk mitigation, and transformational leadership across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Currently hold, or be in the process of obtaining by the scheduled start date, a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field, Business, or Marketing; alternatively, hold a bachelor's degree in any field and have at least 3 years of Product Management experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, judgment, and client focus.
• Learn quickly and multitask effectively in a high-touch, high-volume, adaptive environment.
• Exercise professional judgment and operate with minimal supervision.
• Establish and maintain credibility with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
• Experience in the payments industry, particularly with transaction data.
• Experience in Agile product management.
