About the Team Enterprise AI/ML is powering real-time, intelligent banking by introducing new AI/ML capabilities and safely scaling business-led innovations across Capital One. As a horizontal platform team, we build enterprise-grade intelligence capabilities—spanning distributed compute technologies, control plane operations, and cost management—to directly support the data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers driving our largest AI/ML platforms. We work at the intersection of product, platform engineering, risk, and security to solve complex technical and operational challenges, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and rigorous governance while enabling thousands of engineers to deliver intelligent, personalized customer experiences safely and at scale. In this role, you will lead the product strategy and execution for our sensitive data ecosystem—enabling lines of business across Capital One to build, train, and deploy advanced ML and Generative AI models safely.
Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing OR Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
- Experience in AI/ML, machine learning engineering, or generative AI development environments, with experience supporting data scientists and developers building complex models
- Experience building environments or platform tools operating under strict regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security frameworks
