About The Position

We are now looking for a Datacenter Product Development Engineering Leader! NVIDIA Corporation is a world leader in visual computing technology. Collaborating with your peers across various engineering groups, you will successfully launch new NVIDIA AI Supercomputing Platforms to production. These purpose-built systems bring together the full power of NVIDIA GPUs, NVIDIA NVLink and NVIDIA InfinBand networking. With its end-to-end performance and flexibility, NVIDIA HGX and DGX enables researchers and scientists to combine simulation, data analytics, and AI to drive scientific progress. This product family represents the company’s fastest growing line of business as well as its largest total available market opportunity. We are looking for an engineering and product development leader to drive key aspects of the product engineering operations and technology for the enterprise and datacenter platforms who will bring deep knowledge and experience in GPU and/or CPU development, microarchitecture, design, architecture, as well as key technologies such as high-speed interconnects, memories (HBM, GDDR, etc.), system reliability, and server RAS features.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience as a people manager
  • 10+ overall years experience with enterprise platforms, high speed interconnects, memories, board development concepts, operations and program management
  • Strong engineering and/or program/project management background
  • Track record of successfully leading complex projects with geographically diverse and large teams.
  • Proven self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to adapt to new technology.
  • Strong problem solving and debugging expertise; track record of institutionalizing root-cause analysis.
  • Deep expertise in software and hardware development.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product or series of products end-to-end through the entire product lifecycle.
  • Ensure successful production ramps are achieved working through a large matrixed team.
  • Architect the test methodology for enterprise platform manufacturing tests.
  • Refine, revise and overhaul test and manufacturing flows.
  • Influence and drive software tools/infrastructure required for new product development, validation, and productization.
  • Work closely with architecture, hardware, software and product engineering teams through the product development lifecycle.
  • Assess new hardware features and architect manufacturing diagnostic tests using pre-beta CUDA and OpenGL extensions.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of NVIDIA's hardware and software architecture.
