This role involves collaborating across engineering groups to launch new NVIDIA AI Supercomputing Platforms into production. These systems leverage NVIDIA GPUs, NVLink, and InfinBand networking, enabling researchers and scientists to combine simulation, data analytics, and AI. This product family is NVIDIA's fastest-growing business and largest market opportunity. The position seeks an engineering and product development leader to manage product engineering operations and technology for enterprise and datacenter platforms, requiring deep knowledge in GPU/CPU development, microarchitecture, design, architecture, high-speed interconnects, memories (HBM, GDDR), system reliability, and server RAS features. This position can be a manager or an individual contributor role.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience as a people manager
  • 10+ overall years experience with enterprise platforms, high speed interconnects, memories, board development concepts, operations and program management
  • Strong engineering and/or program/project management background
  • Track record of successfully leading complex projects with geographically diverse and large teams
  • Proven self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to adapt to new technology
  • Strong problem solving and debugging expertise; track record of institutionalizing root-cause analysis
  • Deep expertise in software and hardware development

Responsibilities

  • Own a product or series of products end-to-end through the entire product lifecycle
  • Ensure successful production ramps are achieved working through a large matrixed team
  • Architect the test methodology for enterprise platform manufacturing tests
  • Refine, revise and overhaul test and manufacturing flows
  • Influence and drive software tools/infrastructure required for new product development, validation, and productization
  • Work closely with architecture, hardware, software and product engineering teams through the product development lifecycle
  • Assess new hardware features and architect manufacturing diagnostic tests using pre-beta CUDA and OpenGL extensions
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of NVIDIA's hardware and software architecture
