About The Position

Brand Strategy, Insights, & Ops shapes how Starbucks understands and serves its customers. We transform customer intelligence, product performance insights, and category analytics into actionable recommendations that guide marketing, product strategy, and the overall customer experience. As a manager, product Brand Strategy, Insights & Ops, you will play a hands‑on, analytical role at the center of how product and category decisions get made. This role requires strong SQL proficiency and comfort working directly with data to answer business questions and inform decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, insights, finance, consulting, or a related role
  • Experience analyzing product or category performance and translating findings into business recommendations
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (required)
  • Proven strength in data‑based storytelling and insight generation
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and solving loosely defined business questions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Use SQL‑driven analysis of transaction, customer, and product‑level data to distill complex information into clear, decision‑ready insights.
  • Analyze product and category performance across Beverage, Food, and Lobby to understand customer resonance and portfolio health.
  • Support performance recaps by evaluating new launches, seasonal offerings, and core products, and translating findings clearly.
  • Contribute to identifying data‑driven growth opportunities and supporting success criteria for new products and innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance to deliver insights that support planning and decision‑making.
  • Develop and maintain repeatable measurement approaches and analytical tools to monitor product performance and customer behavior over time.
