About The Position

The Manager Procurement Information Technology role is critical to driving Strategic Ingredient Supply (SIS) operations through data-driven insights, AI-enabled solutions, and modern cloud architecture. You will own the end-to-end development of scalable data pipelines, web-based tools, and advanced analytics solutions, working closely with the SIS data team and category managers to deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Power BI, SAP, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, Power Query).
  • Strong skills in handling, cleaning, merging, and manipulating large datasets.
  • Strong SQL skills (T-SQL / SQL Server); experience writing complex queries, CTEs, views, and stored procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage and/or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Programming experience is highly desirable with preference for Python, PySpark and Databricks, including DataFrame operations, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
  • Knowledge of web application development using the Django framework, including REST API design and deployment on Azure Cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including LLM inference, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and designing agentic AI systems for business process automation.
  • Experience in data modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Understanding of business metrics, performance measurement, and optimization tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, AI/ML implementation, web development, cloud architecture, procurement, supply chain, or logistics.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Preference for quantitative, engineering disciplines, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science such as Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the collection, analysis, and governance of procurement and supply chain data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and integrity across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and web-based applications (Django) to provide actionable supply chain insights and self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines within Azure Synapse Analytics and integrate information into visualization platforms such as Power BI.
  • Perform in-depth operational, financial, and cost model analyses to inform procurement strategies and decisions.
  • Provide ad-hoc data and analysis to support procurement partners’ business needs.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, serving as a subject matter expert on data, analytics, and AI capabilities.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives, including AI/ML adoption and cloud migration strategies, and share best practices through training and documentation.
  • Gather industry and competitive intelligence to support strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Protect company and partner information, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
