About The Position

As a member of Visa’s Global Privacy Office (GPO), you will help advance Visa’s global privacy program and contribute to initiatives that strengthen privacy, data governance, cybersecurity, records and information management, AI and machine learning, open banking, cross-border data movement, and litigation support processes. This role offers exposure to a broad range of emerging topics and the opportunity to develop deep subject-matter knowledge in privacy capabilities and technology. You will join the Privacy Capabilities and Technology team, which is responsible for enhancing Visa’s privacy maturity, improving internal processes, and supporting the evolution of privacy-enabling systems and tools. In this role, you will partner with colleagues across the GPO and the broader Visa business to help shape privacy technology priorities, respond to business needs, and adapt to the changing global privacy landscape. The successful candidate will be passionate about data, curious about process improvement, comfortable working across business and technology stakeholders, and familiar with using AI-enabled tools. They will bring a risk-management mindset, strong project or program management discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse stakeholder groups. They will also have knowledge of information governance concepts and best practices, along with strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

  • CIPM, PMP, CRM, IGP, or another relevant certification.
  • Experience in e-discovery, privacy operations, information governance, records and information management, data governance, or related fields.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, or technology transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Privacy Capabilities and Technology team, supporting team operations and representing the GPO as a point of contact across internal stakeholder groups, including the Global Data Office, Technology Data Platforms, and Cybersecurity.
  • Partner with Privacy, Litigation, Records and Information Management, and other internal stakeholders to support delivery of departmental initiatives.
  • Gather business and technical requirements and work with technology partners to design, implement, and enhance tools and systems, including appropriate use of company-provided AI tools.
  • Participate in internal and vendor-led proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new capabilities and support informed decision-making.
  • Support key projects and represent the GPO in enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, priorities, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations across diverse cross-functional groups.
  • Assess current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation of practical, scalable changes.
  • Ensure programs, processes, and system enhancements are documented and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Deliver high-quality service, solicit feedback, and use insights to improve stakeholder experience and program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to Visa’s privacy technology strategy by clearly communicating program priorities, key themes, and recommendations to stakeholders, including GPO leadership.
