Requirements

• Bachelors Other in a healthcare-related field and graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of six years of recent work experience in perioperative nursing that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, upon hire
• Three years in a supervisory or management capacity
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Previous PACU (Recovery Room) and/or Pre-op/Phase II experience in a tertiary level setting
• Previous leadership position in a Perioperative Services department that included the Peri-Anesthesia departments.

• Provide comprehensive leadership and operational oversight for all perioperative phases, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient surgical care.
• Optimize patient outcomes and staff performance.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Optimize surgical schedules.
• Oversee resource allocation.
• Implement best practices to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement.
