About The Position

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of People Services (Human Resources), the People Services (Human Resources) Manager will provide HR leadership to a number of business units at the Davita Medical Group national headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be a leader with strong business acumen and the ability to establish trusted partner relationships, while proactively meeting the day to day People Services needs of the business. Strong functional skills are required in employee relations, employee retention and engagement, performance management, change management, organizational development, compensation, and training & development. Exceptional analytical and communication skills are also essential.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree, MBA.
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification.
  • 5-7 years of management experience in large, dynamic organizations
  • Knowledge of specific HR related law and regulations.
  • Experience in managing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively within a fast paced business environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interviewing and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Medical Group's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses DaVita Medical Group patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  • Executing people strategies, programs, and initiatives that support business strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of the healthcare industry and the DMG business model.
  • Building effective and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Coaching business leaders on people policies, programs, and processes.
  • Possesses both critical thinking capability and hands-on HR business plan implementation experience.
  • Acting as a change-agent as DMG continues to grow and evolve.
  • Investigating and resolving employee relations issues.
  • Strong project management abilities and process-orientation.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to balance business partnering skills with employee advocacy.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
