About The Position

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Full-time Manager, Patient Care Services, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role supervises, models, and leads professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction, and quality for the area of expertise. The Manager is responsible for supervising staff, providing clinical/technical expertise, and engaging in process improvements. They will assist in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department, including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing, and supply cost management. Performing work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff is also part of the role. Additionally, the Manager interviews, hires, and develops team members with the goal of creating a highly effective work team and engages in talent retention strategies for their area(s) of responsibility. Licensed professionals are required to keep their license or certifications current in the state of practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
  • 3 years Management Experience (Required)
  • Microsoft Office Experience (Required)
  • Computer/Tech Savvy Experience (Required)
  • Strong Leadership Skills (Required)
