About The Position
Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a Full-time Manager, Patient Care Services, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role involves supervising, modeling, and leading professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction, and quality for the area of expertise. The Manager is responsible for supervising staff, providing clinical/technical expertise, and engaging in process improvements. They will also assist in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department, including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing, and supply cost management. Performing work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff is also part of the role. Additionally, the Manager will interview, hire, and develop team members with the goal of creating a highly effective work team and engage in talent retention strategies for their area(s) of responsibility. Licensed professionals are required to keep their license or certifications current in the state of practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
- 3 years Management Experience (Required)
- Microsoft Office Experience (Required)
- Computer/Tech Savvy Experience (Required)
- Strong Leadership Skills (Required)
