This role is responsible for coordinating and managing all resources necessary to provide optimal nursing care, including staff availability, patient care supplies, and automated patient care systems. The position involves maintaining productivity through efficient staffing and scheduling, evaluating the quality of patient care, and developing service strategies to improve customer and patient satisfaction. The Manager Patient Care - Operations also fosters effective relationships with various stakeholders, facilitates evidence-based nursing practices, and participates in shared governance councils. A key responsibility includes ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory bodies. The role also involves developing and communicating change initiatives, achieving care management targets, and assisting with the development of new services and revenue sources. Human resources responsibilities, including interviewing, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution, are also part of this position. Additionally, the manager is responsible for developing and managing operating and capital budgets, and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct. The position requires the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate patient care.
