About The Position

The Manager, Partnerships – Flag Football is responsible for executing and managing best-in-class activations for Flag Football brand partners, ensuring all contractual deliverables are fulfilled at a high level and drive measurable value. This role partners with Sales to onboard clients and translate agreements into impactful, ROI-driven activation plans across digital, broadcast, events, and in-market experiences. Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, this individual manages relationships, coordinates cross-functional execution, and ensures seamless delivery across league events and key moments. He/she will also support proposal development and lead season-end recaps to highlight performance and drive renewals. This position will report to the Vice President, Partnerships – Flag Football. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in fast-paced environments, while being capable of managing multiple partnerships, building strong client relationships, and delivering high-quality execution that supports revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years in sports partnership activation, preferably within an agency, sports league property or media environment
  • Demonstrated experience building activation plans, processes, and partner strategies from the ground up
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partners and activations simultaneously in ambiguous, evolving environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to establish credibility quickly across internal teams and external partners
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills; thrives in environments with shifting priorities and limited structure
  • Proven ability to operate with urgency, wear multiple hats, and execute under tight deadlines
  • Confident communicator and presenter, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in both scrappy and executive-ready settings
  • Basic creative/graphic design skills a plus to assist in creating mockup documents
  • Ability to travel as needed to games, partner locations and other events and meetings

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years in sports partnership activation
  • Experience working within an agency, sports league property or media environment
  • Experience working in a “build from scratch,” startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to onboard new clients, interpret contract terms, and create customized, first-of-their-kind partner activation plans that drive ROI in a launch-stage environment
  • Manage partnership deliverables and reporting (i.e., signage, print, digital, broadcast elements, promotional assets, hospitality, premiums, etc.) to ensure quality standards are met while helping establish scalable processes and best practices
  • Coordinate partner branding and activations across Flag league events and key moments, including but not limited to in-game features, hospitality experiences, fan engagement, and emerging event formats
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement tailored strategies for each partner that promote their brand, while contributing to the build and evolution of activation frameworks for the league
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and agencies to build relationships from the ground up, optimize activations, and fulfill commitments that drive long-term partnerships and renewals
  • Assist in the development of client proposals and presentations, contributing to the creation of innovative, partnership programs for new and prospective partners
  • Develop and present season-end recap presentations, highlighting performance, insights, and opportunities to scale partnerships in future seasons
  • Review and approve partner marketing materials for brand alignment and effectiveness within a new and evolving league environment
  • Track and report on partner activation budgets and expenses, ensuring accuracy while helping refine financial processes as the league grows
