About The Position

Snap Inc. is seeking a Manager, Partnerships Operations to join their team. This role will focus on supporting music-based creative tools globally, managing content rights, ingestion practices, digital supply chain operations, publishing clearance, and metadata management. The position involves ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, managing third-party service providers, and contributing to content management system architecture. A key aspect of the role is driving automation and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline manual processes and partnering with technical teams. The Manager will also serve as a key escalation point for complex partner challenges, including revenue discrepancies, reporting issues, and product-related concerns, investigating root causes and driving resolutions. Collaboration across Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams is essential for operational readiness and alignment on new initiatives and product launches.

Requirements

  • 9+ years working in global operations for a music-focused technology platform, digital music service or rights owner
  • Positive relationships with major and independent music content owners
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Moderate proficiency in SQL

Responsibilities

  • Manage the content rights landscape, including music, for record labels, music publishers, and Performing Rights Organizations.
  • Oversee content ingestion practices (DDEX), digital supply chain operations, publishing clearance, and metadata management.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting obligations and other key provisions from complex licensing agreements.
  • Manage 3rd party service providers.
  • Contribute to content management system architecture and development.
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation and tooling.
  • Partner with technical teams to implement solutions that improve accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex partner challenges, including revenue discrepancies, reporting issues, and product-related concerns.
  • Investigate root causes and drive timely, effective resolutions for partner issues.
  • Collaborate across Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to ensure alignment and operational readiness for new initiatives, product launches, and policy changes.
