Requirements

Prior warehouse management experience.
Strong communication and delegation skills.
Proven ability to build and mentor a team
Bilingual in Spanish.
The ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to obtain certification in the operation of powered industrial trucks including but not limited to, pallet jack, forklift, and order picker. Training will be provided.
The desire to maintain an organized and positive warehouse environment.
The ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.
Familiarity and adaptability to automation systems.

Responsibilities

Manage the outbound shipping operations for state of the art Centralized Distribution Center.
Prioritize the safety and wellness of all employees through training, policy enforcement, and cohesion
Promote and adhere to warehouse safety programs to provide employees with a safe and clean workplace.
Support efforts to recruit and retain warehouse associates for the 2nd and 3rd shift
Coach and mentor a team of 6 direct reports and 50 indirect reports to build a strong foundation and create internal growth opportunities
Prioritize daily workload and staffing needs to achieve 100% on-time shipment and 99.9% shipment accuracy rate.
Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in multiple warehouse functions, to assist in balancing staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders.
Communicate status updates with the wire department and dispatch team.
Ensure that the warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform their functions.
Recommend equipment requirements and replacements to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
