About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing the tasks of the EPCO Order Management Center. The role involves managing a team of inside sales representatives, conducting training and development, and being responsible for order intake and processing for production. Additionally, the position provides customer service for affiliate business units. The EPCO Order Management Center directly reports to this position. The role involves developing and maintaining KPIs related to order intake, lead-time, on-time delivery, shipment volume, and sales volume (bookings), with monthly and periodic reporting. Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, creating training materials, conducting training, and holding recurring 1:1 meetings with individual inside sales representatives. The manager will keep the team updated on product and code requirements, motivate the team, ensure tasks are completed and quotas are met, and provide daily direction and communication to employees to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently and knowledgeably. A key responsibility is ensuring quick quote turnover time for the inside sales team and controlling the order backlog. The role also drives strategic continuous improvement, developing team capabilities for self-sustainability, and acts as the first line of defense for production. Active preparation and participation in trade shows are expected, and the manager will also work on their own key accounts, including quoting and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of experience in an inside sales role and 3 years of experience in junior lead roles.
  • Required industry knowledge, sales experience, and back-office experience in the parts and fixture industry.
  • 10+ years of strong communication skills, elevator code knowledge, and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities
