Manager – Oracle Finance Technology Support
About The Position
Career Land Center is seeking an experienced Manager of Oracle Finance Technology Support to lead application and functional support within a healthcare organization. This is a hands-on management opportunity for someone who can combine strong finance process knowledge with practical Oracle application expertise. The Manager will oversee functional and application support activities within an Oracle Finance environment. This position will take ownership of complex production problems, escalations, and system-related issues while working closely with finance teams and technology partners. The ideal candidate will understand both business finance processes and Oracle financial applications and will be comfortable working directly on technical and functional issues rather than managing solely from a distance.
Requirements
- Direct experience working with Oracle Finance applications.
- Hands-on functional or application support experience in an Oracle Finance environment.
- Experience must include application-level support, not exclusively infrastructure or end-user support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of finance processes and Oracle financial modules.
- Strong experience with General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
- Exposure to additional modules such as Fixed Assets, Projects, Cost Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and/or Cash Management.
- Ability to work as a hands-on manager and personally address complex production issues when required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day functional and application support for Oracle Finance systems.
- Take direct ownership of complex production issues and escalations.
- Work closely with Finance teams to understand business requirements and resolve system issues.
- Support General Ledger and Accounts Payable processes.
- Assist with additional Oracle Finance modules and related business functions.
- Analyze application problems and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Partner with technical teams, business users, and other stakeholders on system improvements.
- Help maintain system stability, performance, and reliable financial operations.
- Lead and support team members while remaining actively involved in hands-on work.
- Contribute to application enhancements, process improvements, and longer-term technology initiatives.
