The building is home to a variety of amenities, including restaurants, a fitness center, and collaborative workspaces, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment in one of Chicago's most iconic areas. Role Overview The Weekend Operations Manager is an experienced operational leader responsible for overseeing Cboe's global weekend support function — managing teams in both Chicago, IL and Singapore to deliver continuous, high-availability operational coverage across Cboe's platform portfolio during the weekend window. This role sits at the intersection of Cboe's existing 24x7 operations Data Vantage support function and its expanding suite of real-time trading platforms, making it a strategically important leadership position within Cboe's global Operations organization. The Weekend Operations Manager owns the end-to-end weekend operational model — from shift structure and staffing to incident management, hand-off coordination, and team development. With initial focus centered on 24x7 Data Vantage platform support (including Cboe Global Indices), this individual will be expected to progressively build the weekend team's capabilities to encompass an expanding set of responsibilities, including trading platform support and operational oversight of Cboe's Titanium markets, as Cboe continues to scale its 24x7 service offerings. This role is responsible for overseeing first-level world-class support across platform monitoring, incident management, customer support, and weekend testing activities. The Weekend Operations Manager acts as the senior escalation point for all production events occurring during the weekend coverage window across both the Chicago and Singapore teams, ensuring that production events outside of standard weekday coverage are handled with the same rigor and urgency as those during the core trading week. Based on global follow-the-sun coverage needs, work schedules may need to adjust throughout the year during daylight savings time to provide for overlapping support schedules across regions.

  • Utilize SQL to conduct data mining against databases, a UNIX shell to examine log files, Sigma dashboards, and Cboe proprietary tools to gather and analyze data, provide reports, and service the needs of customers and business teams.
  • Leverage experience with file transfer processing and cloud technology (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) as applicable.
