About The Position

Manager, Onsite Services is responsible for leading District efforts for assigned KeepStock (Grainger's vendor managed inventory solution) engagements and on site customer service activities. The role focuses on building strong partnerships to facilitate success, extending Grainger's reach into customer locations and providing superior service. The goal is to become the customer's first choice for the products and services they need to keep their workplaces safe, efficient, and functioning.

Requirements

5+ years of retail, manufacturing or industrial business experience with direct leadership experience
Understanding of financial and economic concepts.
Experience leading in a matrixed environment
Experience in building and working effectively within different teams.
Strength in process improvement, ownership and control and project management
Experience leading and working towards goals with a remote team

Responsibilities

Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory in customer accounts helping customers save time and money.
Use Grainger network to collaborate within multiple teams to achieve results.
Implement Leader Plan which includes assessing and prioritizing, coaching and teaching, hiring top talent.
Promote strong team member engagement, support team member development.
Manage projects by allocating resources ensuring return on investment and profitability.
Understand market conditions and trends and customer requirements to provide appropriate direction and guidance to the broader organization.
Ensure the right solutions and resources are being offered/deployed to customers.
Ensure optimal customer survey satisfaction levels.
Partner with internal Grainger teams to provide KeepStock expertise to develop a tailored strategy that supports our customers business pressures and goals.
Be a business steward by understanding how Sales and Service teams collaborate to drive profitable revenue growth and improve service levels.
