About The Position

The Manager in this role will oversee and lead the Texas operations related to title insurance within the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all processes. This position is critical in managing risk and facilitating smooth real estate transactions by coordinating with underwriters, agents, and clients. The Manager will develop and implement strategies to improve title insurance services, maintain regulatory compliance, and enhance customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding team members to uphold high standards of professionalism and operational excellence. Ultimately, this role ensures that the title insurance function supports the company’s business objectives while mitigating potential legal and financial risks.

Requirements

  • Texas Title License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in title insurance or a closely related area.
  • Strong knowledge of title insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Title insurance is applied daily to review and interpret title commitments, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for managing the team, coordinating with stakeholders, and resolving complex title issues effectively.
  • Analytical skills are used to assess operational data, identify trends, and implement improvements that enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with industry software tools supports accurate documentation and workflow management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Texas title insurance department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of title searches, commitments, and policies.
  • Coordinate with underwriters, real estate agents, attorneys, and clients to resolve title issues and facilitate smooth closings.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to Texas title insurance and real estate transactions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors in title insurance workflows.
  • Lead, train, and mentor team members to maintain high levels of knowledge, performance, and customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in Texas title insurance.
