This dynamic role is an important part of the YMCA’s leadership team, and serves as a resource for all staff, members, and guests during evening and weekend operations. The Manager on Duty is responsible for total building safety, security, and supervision in the absence of regular supervisory staff to ensure positive member and program participant experiences. This position will support all departments and enforce all membership, youth development and building policies in addition to performance of standard membership department duties. The Manager on Duty will perform an array of tasks including support of the Welcome Desk, tours for potential or new members, periodic checks of all areas of the building, and will handle any management level questions and all emergencies.
