Under the general direction of the Vice President of Engineering, the Manager of Water Resources and Supply Strategy is responsible for leading the Company's water supply planning, water rights administration, and strategic water supply initiatives. The position serves as the Company's primary resource for water supply strategy, long-term resource planning, and water rights management and is responsible for advancing projects and programs that support reliable, resilient, and cost-effective water service. The Manager leads major water supply initiatives, including potable reuse, desalination, groundwater, recycled water, imported water, and other supply diversification efforts. The position oversees consultants and technical advisors, independently evaluates water supply programs, investments, and agreements, manages water rights matters, and provides technical, operational, financial, and strategic analyses to support executive decision-making. Major duties require the frequent use of initiative, independent judgment, and collaboration with personnel within and outside the Company.
