About The Position

As the Manager of Shift Production, you will lead and develop a team of production specialists, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, align resources to meet production schedules, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Apprenticeship in an appropriate technical environment
Additional specialist qualification and leadership certificate
Proven experience of working in a similar environment
Effective leadership skills — finding the balance between drawing a line and mindfulness
Ability to trouble shoot
Ability to keep calm in times of pressure

Responsibilities

Coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials to execute daily production plans efficiently.
Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to production staff, implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure production goals are achieved.
Monitor production schedules, track performance metrics, and ensure timely fulfillment of production targets.
Partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the production team.
