About The Position
We are hiring a Radiology Manager to oversee the McCleskey and Sentara Norfolk General Comprehensive Breast Centers! The Radiology Manager oversees MRI, CT, and Diagnostic Radiology services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient operations around the clock. The role works collaboratively with supervisors and managers overseeing Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography. Responsibilities include staffing oversight, workflow optimization, quality and compliance, patient experience, equipment utilization, and coordination with other hospital departments. The role also participates in strategic planning, process improvement initiatives, and Sentara-wide operational projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree (Required) - Extensive successful management of hospital departments may be substituted in lieu of bachelor's degree, but in this case, a Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology would be required.
- ARRT, ARDMS or CNMT (Required)
- 5 years of radiology experience (Required)
- 5 years of supervisory experience (Required)
