About The Position

The Manager of Radiology Services leads, supervises, and coordinates department activities to ensure the safety of patients and staff. The role directs departmental human resource functions, oversees training and staff competencies, and ensures safe staffing levels. The manager coordinates and develops budgets under the direction of the Director, meets organizational and patient safety goals, and ensures regulatory compliance. The manager monitors departmental indicators and performance-improvement activities and reports activities as directed. The role also responds to departmental needs by performing radiology technician duties when necessary.

Requirements

Associate degree and graduation from an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
Previous experience as a radiology technologist, Nuclear Medicine technologist, or in other modalities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Current state-licensed CRT and Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH, and ARRT-R.
Current Basic Life Support/BCLS (AHA) certification.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Specialized training in CT or MRI.
