We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee daily payroll operations and lead a team of Payroll Administrators. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across the organization. The Payroll Manager will serve as a subject matter expert, drive process improvements, and support strategic initiatives including system enhancements, regulatory compliance, and team development. Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $ $90,000–$100,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus Competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, and PTO in accordance with applicable state law How you will make an impact: Lead the day-to-day operations of the Payroll team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing Train, and develop Payroll staff, providing ongoing coaching and performance management Oversee all payroll activities, including regular and off-cycle payments, audits, and issue resolution Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and stay current on regulatory changes Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting, and analysis, including ad hoc data requests Drive process improvements and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and standard operating documentation Support payroll systems, including upgrades, testing, and technical enhancements Collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners What you will need: Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HRIS systems Experience with Workday (required) and UKG (preferred) Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
