About The Position

As a Patient Care Manager of our Acute Care Inpatient Rehab Unit, you'll lead daily operations, support clinical excellence, and guide a dedicated care team. In this leadership role, you’ll drive quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and staff development while collaborating across departments and the community. About the Unit: Our Acute Care Inpatient Rehab Unit provides high-quality acute nursing care in a collaborative team environment, supporting the rehabilitation of patients recovering from strokes, multi-trauma injuries, burns, and other complex conditions. We deliver both physical and emotional care to patients of all ages as they navigate significant and often permanent lifestyle changes. With an average length of stay of 2–3 weeks, patients experience various forms in rehabilitation services including physical, occupational or speech therapies, functional healing and a safe environment to heal and grow in their independence.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Current Iowa RN license (or current Registered Nurse (RN) license in either Iowa or Illinois at the time of hire, with a secondary RN license for the other state to be obtained within 12 months of hire).
  • At least two (2) years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within three (3) months of hire.
  • Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter for both Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training required within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Relevant supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Specialty practice certification is preferred.
