This individual will be responsible for leading new store projects, ensuring clarity, alignment, and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves strategic planning, budget management, and fostering collaborative relationships with various stakeholders including store teams, Field Visual Merchandisers (FVMs), Store Implementation Managers (SIMs), and Regional Market Directors (RMDs). The New Store Project Manager (NSPM) will provide operational direction for merchandise flow, partner with FVMs on visual merchandising training, and surface regional insights to influence market performance. They will also optimize fixture harvest strategies and act as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams to ensure successful new concept launches and store openings. The NSPM will collaborate with training and store communication teams to develop strategies for new store launch weeks (NSLW) and new initiative kickoffs. Additionally, they will shape the strategic approach for new store openings by aligning visual calendars, key milestones, and cross-functional expectations, ensuring transitions support operational readiness and a strong athlete experience. The role also involves identifying and elevating recurring failure points to improve future projects and ensuring openings reflect current brand strategies. Travel is expected within company guidelines, with a focus on elevating store performance and strengthening collaboration. The NSPM will analyze business metrics to identify opportunities for improved presentations and increased sales, and work with purchasing to address issues with new store fixture packages and equipment. Furthermore, the NSPM will identify and develop emerging talent within the NSPM role and foster a learning environment for store teams regarding operational expectations and processes.
