The Manager of Loss Prevention is responsible for leading Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Loss Prevention program to protect the organization’s people, merchandise, financial assets, facilities, and brand. The position develops and oversees loss prevention strategies, investigations, audit programs, training initiatives, and operational compliance while providing leadership and direction to the Loss Prevention Specialist. The Manager also supervises onsite Security/Reception team and will be required to perform operational duties as needed. The manager partners closely with Retail Operations, Distribution, People Services, Safety, and Finance to reduce shrink, strengthen internal controls, improve operational consistency, and foster a culture of accountability across all retail stores, donation centers, program sites, warehouses, and administrative locations. This position requires travel in Allegheny county and surrounding areas, and a majority of the incumbents time will be spent meeting providing job coaching and creating employment opportunities out in the community. Consistent access to a reliable vehicle, and valid drivers license, are required for this role.
