About The Position

Infinity Software, part of Aquila since 2021, is seeking a Manager of Infrastructure to lead the evolution of its cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and quality assurance functions. This role involves guiding infrastructure architecture, modernizing the Azure environment, and building systems, processes, and automation for reliable, scalable software delivery. The Manager of Infrastructure will collaborate with Product, Development, and business leaders to enhance platform performance, improve operational efficiency, advance AI initiatives, and strengthen the technical foundation. This is a full-time remote position open to candidates across the United States and Canada.

Requirements

  • Experience leading and developing technical teams, creating an environment where people are empowered and accountable.
  • Coaching mindset in leadership, balancing mentorship with clear expectations, thoughtful feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of modern infrastructure architecture, networking, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building and improving infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing practices.
  • Passion for creating efficient, repeatable processes that improve software quality, accelerate releases, and reduce operational risk.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and explore new ways to solve business challenges.
  • Ability to evaluate technical and business requirements, identify patterns, assess trade-offs, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Comfort making decisions in evolving environments and communicating the reasoning behind them.

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure strategy and modernization, defining and executing the roadmap for Infinity's cloud infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend architectural improvements, and guide the evolution of the Azure environment.
  • Build and strengthen DevOps practices by advancing infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
  • Champion best practices to reduce manual effort, improve release quality, minimize outages, and support continuous delivery.
  • Drive innovation through AI and emerging technologies, leading the evaluation and adoption of AI-powered capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies, accelerate delivery, and create innovative solutions.
  • Lead and develop a small team of Infrastructure, DevOps, and QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Act as a hands-on leader, removing obstacles, providing technical guidance, and helping the team grow.
  • Partner with Product, Development, and business leaders to understand priorities, balance technical and business needs, and ensure infrastructure decisions enable product innovation.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, translating technical concepts into practical business outcomes.
