About The Position

The Manager of Growth Marketing is responsible for leading the company’s growth strategy by driving measurable revenue growth, improving digital customer experience, and optimizing customer acquisition costs across all marketing channels. This role owns the development and execution of a fully integrated, data-driven marketing approach that supports digital, retail, wholesale, and events. This position plays a key role in transitioning marketing efforts from an agency-dependent model to a scalable, in-house growth function.

  • Leadership and Team Building: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Budget Management: Proficient in developing and managing marketing budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring high ROI.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential partnerships to keep Aviator Nation at the forefront of marketing innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, eCommerce, and performance marketing.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth and cost reductions in a similar role.
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, SEO, paid media, and retention marketing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across all sales channels.
  • Create and execute a full-funnel marketing mix, balancing awareness, traffic, and conversion tactics.
  • Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Focus on collecting and leveraging first and zero-party data to drive personalized marketing efforts and enhance customer engagement.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to analyze consumer behavior and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Create reporting tools to share KPI’s & ROI with cross-functional teams & leadership.
  • Paid Media and Performance Marketing: Oversee paid social and search campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat, optimizing cost-efficiency and high ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
  • Implement and manage an attribution tool (e.g., Northbeam) to track the impact of paid media efforts.
  • Test and optimize A/B campaigns to maximize revenue and conversion rates.
  • Own our affiliate marketing channel to drive high revenue through multiple publisher opportunities.
  • Retention and Segmentation: Develop and execute strategies for email, SMS, and loyalty marketing
  • Create personalized and segmented marketing campaigns to enhance customer retention and drive repeat purchases.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product development, retail, and creative teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
  • Attend industry conferences to stay updated on trends and identify potential partnerships.
  • Budgeting and Finance: Develop and manage the marketing budget in alignment with overall business goals and financial targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the allocation of resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Forecast and track marketing expenditures, ensuring a high return on investment for all marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to conduct monthly budget reviews and make data-driven adjustments to spending strategies.
  • Negotiate with and manage external vendors to maintain cost-effective and efficient marketing operations.
  • Agency Management: Manage external agency partnerships across paid social, search, email, SMS, & affiliate marketing.
