The Manager of Fleet Maintenance is a key role responsible for the oversight of the Brooklyn Site Maintenance Shop. This position involves managing a team of technicians, welders, and administrative staff who are tasked with the preventive maintenance and repair of the company's fleet equipment. The Maintenance Manager will provide direction to the maintenance team, implement and monitor maintenance policies and procedures, and ensure all repairs and maintenance of Interstate Waste Services/Action Environmental Service’s equipment (including trucks, containers, and other heavy-duty equipment) adhere to the Company's safety and compliance standards, as well as all federal and state regulations.
