About The Position

This position manages all aspects of the integrated facility operations and maintenance of a community college on two college campuses in two different municipalities (South Portland and Brunswick). Manage day-to-day operations of college buildings, grounds, and physical assets. Oversee a team of skilled trades, custodians, and groundskeepers to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff. Direct preventative and corrective maintenance, manage departmental budgets, coordinates projects, create department procedures and ensure compliance with safety and environmental codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities, operations, project management or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
• Must possess a valid Maine Driver's license.
• Knowledge of state and local building code, ordinances.
• Training in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Supervisory or management training.
