About The Position
The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in the state of Idaho. Our mission: We unite for Idaho’s youth by providing accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience. Every position at Idaho Youth Ranch contributes to the success of our mission. As a Manager of Corporate Sponsorships and Events for IYR, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by building and leading the regional corporate engagement program and special events where the overall goal is to raise funds for the programs and services IYR provides. This includes building and caring for relationships with corporate partners, and directly overseeing the planning of events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent education and experience
- 3 years’ experience in event management and donor solicitation
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
- Strong team building and collaboration skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional and effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with businesses and organizations, engaging them as partners in the mission
- Lead corporate partnerships and fundraising-related donor events
- Support a holistic culture of philanthropy throughout the organization
- Monitor budgets, tracking metrics and preparing reports on a regular basis
