About The Position

Clark Hill is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled manager to lead a team of conflicts analysts in the Philadelphia or Pittsburgh office. This position is responsible for overseeing the conflicts clearance process, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of high-volume conflict checks, and the implementation of effective systems and workflows. This Manager will focus on team development, accountability, and process improvement, while collaborating across departments to support firm-wide risk management initiatives. This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • High level of proficiency with conflicts and business intake systems, particularly the Intapp Platform and Elite 3E
  • Strong understanding of law firm risk operations and applicable professional responsibility rules
  • Excellent communication skills, as this position will require working with firm leadership, attorneys, vendors, and the administrative staff
  • Experience leading and managing large-scale enterprise risk system upgrades together with external consultants and firm information technology team
  • Extensive hands-on experience coaching, training and managing conflict analysts, to ensure quality control throughout the conflict team
  • Ability to ensure that analyst resources and workload are closely managed and that turnaround times are met
  • Demonstrated competency in adjusting workflows as needed in order to meet business demands
  • Ability to build a cohesive, service-oriented team culture and establish consistent expectations and workflows for the analyst team
  • Ability to closely coordinate with the firm’s conflict attorneys and the Assistant General Counsel to ensure coordinated, timely, and risk-appropriate clearances of new matters and parties
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least five years of experience in legal conflicts
  • At least two years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
