About The Position

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for fostering and sustaining collaborative relationships between EPCH and top employers, city and county offices, universities, and manufacturing facilities/distribution centers, managed care organizations (MCO’s) and health plans. This role focuses on enhancing community health outcomes by supporting and strengthening the capabilities of workplace health coordinators, university health services, and safety officers through education, programming, and coordinated care initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in community health, workplace wellness, school health coordination, safety program management, or managed care/health plan coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Health Communication, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Occupational Health, or a related field required.
  • Knowledge of health care delivery in diverse settings, including workplaces, schools, universities, manufacturing environments, and managed care/health plan ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-agency partnerships, including with managed care organizations and health plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure to improve health outcomes and support population health initiatives.
  • Understanding of organizational structures and relationships in corporate, educational, industrial, and managed care settings.
  • Ability to collaborate with health professionals, administrators, safety officers, and managed care/health plan representatives to achieve goals, enhance safety and health outcomes, and position EPCH as a leader in community and population health.
