About The Position

As the Manager of Ancillary Academic Partnerships, you will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen academic relationships and enhance the experience of ancillary and allied health students within Medical City Healthcare (MCH). This role is pivotal in shaping workforce development by building robust pipelines in areas of critical need and positioning MCH as the destination of choice for future healthcare professionals. This position requires a high degree of communication, accountability, and autonomy, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive innovation in academic partnerships.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience within a healthcare system is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of leadership/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all processes supporting ancillary/allied health students across the North Texas Division, including orientation, recruitment, and development of tools and resources to optimize the student experience.
  • Oversee division-wide clinical placements for ancillary and allied health students, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to attract and retain students, increase satisfaction, and strengthen academic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with workforce development and talent acquisition teams to identify areas with the greatest recruitment needs and design targeted initiatives that prioritize student placement and recruitment for those high-demand areas.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with academic institutions, meeting regularly to foster collaboration and enhance program outcomes.
  • Collect and analyze student operations data to inform strategic decisions and workforce planning.
  • Support recruitment efforts by implementing initiatives that transition students into open roles and advance workforce development goals.
