About The Position

Available Positions 2 Managers 3 Senior Accountants 1 Accountant II 2 Accountant I Responsibilities will vary by level, but may include: Processing journal entries, review of journal entries Performing account reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Preparing financial reports and supporting internal and external audits Assists with implementation and maintenance of SOX internal control certification requirements, in coordination with QVC Internal Audit and QVC Internal Controls teams Participate in and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with auditors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies Preparing and/or reviewing SOX control workpapers Providing guidance, oversight and development of junior staff (Manager-level) Managing workflow, deadlines, and departmental objectives (Manager-level) Communicate and partner with individuals cross-functionally to work through projects, new contracts and company initiatives to determine proper accounting treatment (Manager-level) Qualifications: Staff Accountant : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Strong organizational skills; ability to learn quickly; attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft office products. SAP experience preferred. Senior Accountant : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred; 3+ years of professional accounting experience; proficiency in US GAAP and SOX audit; advanced Excel skills. SAP experience preferred. Accounting Manager : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA required; 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior supervisory experience required; proficiency in US GAAP and SOX audit; advanced Excel skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; polished executive presence. SAP experience preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • prior supervisory experience required
