Manager of Accounting and Finance
About The Position
Palmetto Community Care is seeking a manager of accounting and finance skilled in the non-profit space, who will work with us to make a significant impact on our mission to bring an end to the HIV epidemic. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the financial landscape of our non-profit organization. In this position, you will supervise another employee and oversee day-to-day accounting and finance functions, ensuring that all financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations. Your attention to detail and expertise with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel are vital to ensuring your success in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also vital, as you'll be collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer, your direct report and other team members.
Requirements
- Skilled in the non-profit space
- Expertise with QuickBooks
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong background in the non-profit sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
