About The Position

Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Texas Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years Professional nursing experience
• 2 years Clinical experience in specific clinical area

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Leadership and/or leadership certification
• Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Admin., Business or related field
• Specialty certification related to practice
• Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
• 3 years Supervisory/leadership experience
