This is a 20-bed unit serving adult patients with psychiatric illness. Patients are cared for by an interdisciplinary team consisting of the psychiatrist, nursing, social work, psychology, occupational therapy, therapeutic recreation and behavioral health technicians and aides. Patients in this unit are treated with group therapy as well as individual therapy and assessments. This unit provides acute care for the patient and facilitates treatment ongoing in the community. This unit also includes a partial hospitalization program. The PHP is independent of the Psych. Unit Highlights: High employee satisfaction scores! Summary: Manages the day-to-day operations for nursing staff and nursing activities for an assigned unit, including patient care, record keeping, and personnel issues. Responsible for implementing the mission, vision, policies, goals, and objectives of the organization and the nursing/clinical services within their area(s).
