This position leads the combined Network and Cybersecurity Engineering teams and serves as both a hands-on senior engineer and working manager. The role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical and operational leadership while remaining directly involved in complex engineering work across enterprise networking and cybersecurity domains. The Manager of Network & Cybersecurity Engineering is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and continual improvement of the organization’s enterprise network and cybersecurity platforms. This includes technical leadership for network infrastructure, perimeter security, network security, endpoint security, application security, data security, threat prevention, security monitoring, and incident response. This role functions as the organization’s lead network engineer and primary cybersecurity engineering leader. The position is expected to establish technical standards, guide platform strategy, oversee engineering and operational readiness, support incident response efforts, evaluate new technologies, assist with budgeting and lifecycle planning, and ensure alignment between infrastructure, security, and organizational goals. While the role includes supervisory responsibilities, it is intentionally structured to remain highly hands-on, particularly as the network and cybersecurity teams continue to integrate and mature. This role requires a high-performing engineering leader who is ready to work shoulder-to-shoulder with both network and Cybersecurity teams while driving innovation, stability, and security across the enterprise infrastructure.
