About The Position

The Manager of Network Contracts negotiates managed care agreements to support the Pediatric System of Care and develops specific strategies for new and renewing contractual relationships. Conducts contract performance review and analysis; organizes interdepartmental teams to implement managed care agreements. Oversees resolution of associated operational issues and participate in the development of contract management infrastructure.

Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of experience with contracts and managed care.
BA/BS degree in related field or in place of a degree, seven (7) years relevant experience.
Training in managed care.
Knowledge of contract negotiation, contract legal review and analytical/financial analysis.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical and organization skills; excellent critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction.
