Job Description Summary: Job Description: Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Plans and leads regulatory and accreditation program activities for full compliance of The Joint commission (TJC) accreditation and certification, and other state and federal healthcare standards, rules and regulations pertaining to Naven Health’s Home Health and Healthcare Staffing Services. Plans and leads Mock Surveys to ensure Naven is well-prepared for surveys from state and accrediting bodies. Identifies regulatory compliance gaps and mentors leadership in developing appropriate plans to address and close the gaps to achieve outcomes, promote safe practices and achieve sustainable compliance with regulatory standards. Provides consultative services, coaches and facilitates key stakeholders and staff to help mitigate/resolve potential and actual issues/deficiencies/violations in accordance with established requirements and policies. Collaborates with other key stakeholders in the Quality and Education Department such as Patient Safety, Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Training and education, to ensure communication and implementation of system quality improvement initiatives. Participates in complaint investigations submitted to accrediting bodies or state and federal agencies, evaluates actions and prepares documentation and provided written and verbal communication to appropriate regulatory and accreditation agencies. Coordinates and is the point of contact for customer-initiated audits such as delegation management audits and/or Supplier Qualification Audits. Participates and leads committee and workgroup appointments and actively participates to affect change in patient care. Monitors and analyzes regulatory and accreditation trends and requirements that will influence Naven’s policy governance framework. Assists in development of clinical policies and procedures as requested. Serves as the primary liaison between Naven Health and regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
