Manager, Nature and Water

Trellis Group, (Multiple States)
$75,000 - $120,000Remote

About The Position

Trellis is a media, events, and peer network company accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy. We bring together sustainability leaders through trusted content, high-impact events, and curated communities that help companies take action where it matters most. Our analysts sit at the center of that work. Not just as content creators and conveners, but as subject matter experts, relationship builders, and market shapers who help define where corporate sustainability teams can most effectively drive change — by reducing risk, unlocking opportunity, and shaping what comes next. We’re looking for a Manager, Nature & Water (internally referred to as analysts) to help build and shape one of the most important and fast-evolving areas in the professional communities we serve. Nature and water are quickly becoming core to how companies think about risk, resilience, and long-term strategy. This role is about helping define what that looks like in practice. For example, one day you might lead a Water Leadership Circle with CSOs of global brands to map out localized water replenishment strategies; the next, you’ll collaborate with the GreenBiz content team to architect a flagship Nature track focused on the technical nuances of emerging corporate biodiversity initiatives. At Trellis, analysts operate at the intersection of curation, convening, and communicating. You’ll play a central role across: Trellis events (including GreenBiz and Trellis Impact), Trellis Network communities, and Editorial and thought leadership. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role. You’ll shape programming that reaches thousands, build relationships with leading practitioners, and help translate a rapidly changing landscape into clear, actionable insights. Expertise in nature and water is a critical part of our sustainability coverage and an increasingly important focus area for the corporate leaders we serve. This role will work closely with teammates and subject matter experts across other key sustainability areas — including energy, decarbonization, circular economy, finance and ESG, communications, and innovation and startups — helping shape conversations at the intersection of business and sustainability. This is a fully remote role based in the U.S. reporting to our VP of Sustainability, Katie Ryan. Travel is expected for key events and team gatherings (~3–5 times per year).
