About The Position

The Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and operational oversight of the organization’s Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program. This role provides field‑based clinical and operational leadership, ensuring high‑quality patient interventions, continuity of care, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The MIH Manager serves as a key liaison between EMS operations, hospital leadership, and community stakeholders to support program growth, patient outcomes, and value‑based care initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School required.
  • 5 Years of Paramedic or RN experience.
  • Healthcare Management, Public Health or MIH experience.
  • ACLS required
  • PALS required
  • BLS required
  • NJ EMT - Paramedic or RN required

  • Bachelors preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization's Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Provides strategic direction and operational oversight to support program growth, sustainability, and measurable patient outcomes.
  • Collaborates closely with EMS leadership, including the ALS Clinical Manager, to expand MIH initiatives and service offerings.
  • Provides field-based clinical leadership as a paramedic, ensuring high-quality patient assessments, interventions, and continuity of care.
  • Supports evidence-based care delivery for high‑risk and vulnerable patient populations, including post‑overdose and chronic disease patients.
  • Ensures clinical activities comply with NJ Department of Health regulations.
  • Supports Inspira's Buprenorphine and Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs, including coordination of field inductions when applicable.
  • Assists with training, education, and protocol development related to addiction‑focused MIH services.
  • Acts as a clinical and operational resource to EMS crews and hospital partners involved in MAT initiatives.
  • Oversees day‑to‑day MIH operations, including patient volumes, scheduling, and service coverage.
  • Tracks and analyzes program metrics, including call volume, patient engagement, and outcomes.
  • Conducts quality assurance and chart reviews to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Supports reporting efforts tied to grants, reimbursement, and value‑based care initiatives.
  • Serves as a liaison between EMS, hospital departments, community providers, and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated MIH services.
  • Participates in DOH, health system, and community meetings related to MIH policy development and program expansion.
  • Supports stakeholder engagement to strengthen partnerships and improve access to care across the region.
