About The Position

As the Manager of Hard Discount Merchandising Analytics, you will be joining the Hard Discount organization and help us derive data driven insights within the merchandising & operations team. This role offers the opportunity to build, design and deploy meaningful solutions to deliver meaningful value to our customers. You’ll take a leadership role within our team, providing technical ownership and guidance to Merchandising teams on major work streams. Reporting to the Senior Director of Hard Discount Merchandising Analytics, The Manager will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of merchandising analytics solutions, including promotional and shelf strategy optimization across Merchandising Categories. This role will leverage data-driven insights and analytical solutions to inform decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and drive measurable business outcomes with the opportunity to build & present insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Merchandising, Strategy, Finance, Technology and Operations teams to translate business questions into scalable analytical frameworks and recommendations.
  • Help build/design robust, scalable solutions to implement promo & operational optimization in the daily lives of merchants.
  • Evaluate promotional campaigns and merchandising programs through advanced analytics, measuring effectiveness and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Be a key collaborator in support of merchandising to drive timely business decisions while partnering in execution to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify trends, risks, and emerging opportunities within category performance and competitive market dynamics to support proactive business actions.
  • Present analytical findings, business recommendations, and performance updates to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision-making through clear and compelling storytelling.
