The Pratt & Whitney Government Pricing team has an immediate opportunity within the Military Engines Program for a Manager, ME - FP&A Aftermarket Pricing. This is will be a hybrid position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of applicable experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands‑on experience with FAR, DFARS, TINA, and other government procurement regulations related to cost and price proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience developing cost and pricing proposals.
  • Strong analytical capability, with a focus on process improvement, automation, AI and data science.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple organizations.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in proposals and pricing, engineering BOMs, finance, or supply chain.
  • Experience supporting military or commercial aftermarket pricing (spares, repairs, sustainment, PBLs).
  • Understanding of supply chain operations related to repair, overhaul, or sustainment activities.
  • Experience supporting large sole‑source or competitive government proposals.
  • Familiarity with government contracting requirements and cost‑proposal development practices.
  • Experience in DCAA/DCMA audits or audit‑readiness activities.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence engaging with customers and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience developing pricing recommendations and strategies for leadership review.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements through Continuous Improvement, CORE, Lean, or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing activities for military engine aftermarket repairs and overhauls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment across inter‑entity customer relationships.
  • Support the full proposal lifecycle, including fact‑finding, negotiations, and compliance sweeps, with a focus on complex technical work scopes and sustainment requirements.
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, program offices, finance, and global partner entities to validate inputs and ensure pricing supports contractual and inter‑entity obligations.
  • Identify and interpret customer‑specific requirements for proposal content, format, and data submission, particularly for multi‑organization repair value streams.
  • Gather, analyze, and disclose cost and pricing data for aftermarket repair and overhaul actions, ensuring a consistent audit‑ready record.
  • Utilize pricing tools such as SAP, ProPricer, and integrated aftermarket pricing models to combine data from multiple systems and produce timely, high‑quality pricing deliverables.
  • Ensure proposals comply with FAR, DFARS, Public Law, Cost Accounting Standards, and internal governance for inter‑entity agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, data‑driven presentations to leadership and inter‑entity customer teams to support pricing reviews, negotiations, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Drive continuous improvement by participating in cross‑functional teams focused on enhancing pricing efficiency, data quality, and process standardization.
